AhlulBayt News Agency: A special ceremony for Urdu-speaking pilgrims was held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (s.a.) in Qom to mark her birth anniversary.
According to IQNA, the event took place on Tuesday evening in the Hazrat Zahra (s.a.) Shabestan (roofed hall) of the mausoleum, following the Maghrib and Isha prayers. It was organized by the international affairs department of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship) and conducted entirely in Urdu.
The program featured a Quran recitation by Mohammad Basharat Emami, a speech in Urdu by Syed Abolqassem Rizvi, and a Mawlud Khani (eulogy recitation) by Syed Muhammad Rizvi from Pakistan.
Shia Muslims in Iran and across the globe celebrate the first day of Dhu al-Qa'dah, corresponding to April 29 this year, as the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (s.aa), the daughter of the 7th Shia Imam.
